Iran Fires Multiple Missile Barrages at Northern Israel

(MENAFN) Iran launched three separate missile barrages toward northern Israel early Thursday, as reported by Israeli sources. Air raid sirens were activated across large parts of the north, with interception efforts reported to be underway.

According to Iranian state media, some of the missiles reached the port city of Haifa shortly after US President Donald Trump delivered a televised address from the White House. During the speech, Trump stated that Iran had “very few” missile launchers remaining and claimed its capacity to deploy missiles and drones had been “dramatically curtailed.”

Trump also indicated that he expects the conflict with Iran to continue for another two to three weeks but expressed optimism that the military campaign is nearing its conclusion.

As stated by reports, the region has remained on high alert since February 28, when the US and Israel launched an air offensive on Iran, resulting in over 1,340 fatalities, including former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Iran has responded with a series of drone and missile attacks targeting Israel, as well as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf states hosting US military bases. These retaliatory strikes have caused casualties, damaged infrastructure, and disrupted global markets and air travel.
